Clark Construction Group, LLC Systems/MEP Manager in Chicago, Illinois
The Systems/MEP Manager is involved in all aspects of the Mechanical, Electrical (including Low Voltage, Security, Fire Alarm, etc.), Plumbing, Fire Protection, Controls, Elevators, Pools, and Food Service trades from design build management, coordination and submittal review process, field inspections, TAB management and commissioning.
Responsibilities
Lead project pursuits for the MEP scope
Manage MEP design coordination process
Manage MEP trade 3D coordination meetings
Manage MEP coordinated drawing submittals in accordance with the contract documents
Review and process MEP trade submittals and materials/equipment tracking in accordance with the project schedule
Develop, monitor, and maintain the MEP schedule in conjunction with project team
Review field installation and facilitate city inspections
Manage testing and commissioning efforts
Track and assist in resolution of open MEP issues
Review and advise on MEP requisitions and contract changes
Handle MEP related close out document delivery
Develop and maintain professional relationships with Owners, Design Team and Subcontractor Partners
Encourage and/or participate in staff training and development
Basic Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related discipline or relevant work experience
5+ years construction trade specific experience
Strong interest in the MEP management career path
Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
Large scale commercial, healthcare, or mission critical project experience beneficial
