We're looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Coordinator to become part of our creative, collaborative, and high-energy team. As an integral part of this team, you'll have the opportunity to create innovative proposals, presentations, and other materials that help Clark win projects. This position is based out of our HQ in Bethesda, MD and will work within our Regional-Texas-Chicago Marketing Team, supporting proposals in Southeast, Texas, and Midwest. (Some overnight travel may be required.)
Organize and lead proposal teams in partnership with our operational leaders and the company’s national Marketing team; build positive relationships with operational staff to facilitate team synergy, creativity, and effectiveness.
Develop and execute winning RFQ and RFP responses, actively leading
and delivering at all stages of proposal development including writing, editing, and visual communication.
Write and/or edit compelling proposal content that directly responds to questions in the RFQ or RFP.
Maintain full ownership for delivering a compliant proposal document.
Develop and edit presentation materials for proposal team interviews with clients. Initiate presentation preparation and critique public speaking skills.
Maintain Clark’s corporate brand standards across all marketing deliverables, including effectively implementing the company’s proposal and presentation templates in InDesign and PowerPoint, respectively.
Maintain company information, materials, and associated Marketing databases for all projects and personnel in the Regional Group.
Support the creation and implementation of any communications plan(s) for Clark’s Regional and Texas offices.
Four plus years of relevant and successful proposal management experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.
Bachelor’s degree with a major in Communications, English, Business, Political Science, or other relevant focus of study in writing, communication, and critical analysis.
Proven experience coordinating and managing complicated proposal efforts.
Technical writing background and/or experience in marketing for professional services.
Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite (primarily InDesign and Illustrator) for professional document design, layout, and production.

Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills, and the ability to coordinate the activities of various team members when faced with multiple deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to write and communicate in a clear and compelling manner, with a strong command of English grammar and attention to detail.
A good eye for visualization, layout, and graphic design to facilitate appealing and effective communication using desktop publication software.
Extreme attention to detail.
Creativity and resourcefulness, with the ability to execute creative ideas effectively.
Confident personality with the ability to think strategically and help teams to develop sound marketing, pursuit and proposal strategies.
Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills with a hands-on and team-oriented attitude.
Additional Consideration Will Be Given for the Following Qualifications
Additional associate or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or other relevant AEC discipline.
Master’s degree in a relevant focus of study in construction, writing, communication, or critical analysis.
Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM)
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
Project Management Professional (PMP)
LEED Green Associate or LEED AP (any variety)
