Clark Construction is in search of a Communications Analyst to empower the Clark Acquisitions team with the tools, analysis, and messaging required to support exception business development operations. The Communications Analyst position is a critical role within the Clark Acquisitions team and works closely with the front-line business development professionals and Acquisitions executives and planners. This role is the driver behind ensuring Clark goes to market in the most compelling and effective manner armed with the best messaging and the best equipped BD professionals.

The person in this role is responsible for conducting the analysis necessary to truly understand our client’s business and mine that intelligence in a way that drives business for Clark. This includes creating and maintaining the messaging framework and client persona analysis to convey Clark value in the most compelling way possible. This role will conceive of and create the Sourcing tools and collateral to put in the hands of BD professionals and executives to tell the Clark story. In addition, the Communications Analyst will conduct the market analysis necessary to understand where the best opportunities are for Clark, and where Acquisitions resources should be invested.

A successful Communications Analyst is strategic-minded, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The person in this role is a self-starter, a high-energy multi-tasker, and is relentless in the ability to complete work projects. Someone in this position must also be able to relate to and collaborate with individuals within Clark from senior executives through to subject matter experts.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build in-depth profiles of client personas, motivations, and success factors used to help Clark employees at all levels better know our clients.

  • Isolate Clark service offerings into discrete bundles and establish powerful messaging useful in Acquisitions materials and outbound communications

  • Execute and advance Clark value proposition analysis to identify what clients get the most value from and how best to communicate that value

  • Develop tools used by BD professions and operations executives to convey the Clark value propositions. Roll out and train Clark employees on these tools.

  • Conduct market research on where geographically the best project opportunities might be arising. Develop strategies to pursue these opportunities, including research on owners and other stakeholders

  • Conduct market sizing analysis in new(er) markets for Clark to determine when and how much to invest in these markets to attain the target returns

Candidate Profile

  • Quantitative professional capable of structuring and executing a series of analytical projects

  • Skillful communicator and writer able to articulate ideas concisely and effectively, both written and verbal

  • Adept multi-tasker comfortable with tracking and progressing a portfolio of diverse projects

  • Highly motivated individual who is inspired by a challenge and keen to learn

  • Ability to extract and summarize relevant information from source materials

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent field

  • Experience in sales, marketing, or product marketing is helpful
